What to expect
Acupuncture, Cupping, Gua Sha, Tui Na, & Acupressure
Sessions are personalized for each PatienT in which I may use a combination of acupuncture along with tui na, acupressure, cupping and gua sha.
Before SessioN
Please eat something light before an acupuncture session or inform me if you haven't eaten anything that day - the needles depend on your own qi, blood, and energy in order to naturally self-regulate.
The recipient is fully clothed during the session; Please wear loose and comfortable clothing so that I may access specific points for your condition.
During Session
Each session will begin with an intake and update so we understand where your health is at, where it has been, and where it is going. I will then insert the needles and let you rest and relax.
The Tui Na style can involve quite a bit of movement in the beginning, but gradually slows down towards the end. If at any instance the pressure or movement is too much or even too little, please let me know.
After Session
Please drink plenty of water to flush out any stored toxins that are commonly released into the body's circulation. It is normal to sometimes feel stimulation of the points even though the session has ended.
*Cupping can cause non-permanent red/purple marks and swelling at local areas for a few days and up to a week in some cases.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about your session.
